NOn-contact STRucturAl DAMage for fUture Safety and lightweight

  • Call: H2020-MSCA-IF-2020 (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships)
  • Grant number: 101027829
  • Project duration: 1.10.2021. - 30.09.2023.
  • CORDIS EU: Link of the MSCA-IF project
  • Overarching objetive: The scientific method to be developed will be called optical vibration fatigue damage identification method (OptiViFa). It will enable close to real-time identification of fatigue damage with high spatial density. It will be achieved by employing both the recent scientific progress in displacement measurement using a high-speed camera and vibration fatigue identification using the modal decomposition. Relating both approaches requires significant scientific, especially theoretic, research which will result in further extension of both fields.
