Application of Neural Networks for Noise Reduction in Digital Images of Mechanical Systems

Abstract
Digital image processing methods are widely used in vibration measurements. The key limitation of such measurements remains the relatively high level of random noise, which is largely due to noise in the digital images themselves. The aim of the thesis is to examine the suitability of noise reduction approaches in digital images using neural network methods for accurate image-based vibration measurements.
This topic can be further expanded into a master's thesis.
